Ballard Blades for Hustler

Ballard Products has brought you a line of blades in both regular lift RAZOR and mulching design RIPPER blade, as well as HI-RISE lift blades, made to exact OEM specifications for optimum performance. These hardened steel blades are tested at a Rockwell 45 rating for longer life and stay sharp technology. All blades are statically balanced and are coated with a silver non-stick powder coat finish. Will fit most commercial brands and sizes as seen in our fitment guide. Most blades sizes we carry have a matching X-Blade kit as well.

Which Blade do I use for my application?

High Rise - The Highest Lift mower blade available in Australia. This is an excellent blade for catching grass and side throwing, as the high lift section creates a lot of airflow and suction.

Ripper - Perfect for mowers that run dedicated mulch kits or chute blockers. The serrated fins throw grass up to the top of the deck so they fall down and be cut twice before exiting the chute. Also great for jungle lawns as the airflow can pass through the fins, allowing the blade to not get bogged down by heavier, thicker grass.

Razor - Unlike the other variants, this blade doesn’t have a specialty. However it is a good blade for all applications. If you do a bit of everything, Catch, side throw and mulch on both nice lawns and jungles, then the Razor is a perfect fit.

Gold Hybrid - High Lift mulching blade that can be used across all applications, especially jungle lawns with its hardened edge technology that stays sharp up to 4x longer than other blades.
